Ок. стало быть проблема и в 4.0 и в 3.4 одинаково проявляется. Хотелось бы услышать и других форумчан у кого в приемнике si5351

I see your post, but my SI4735 was broken (rf input) now I soldered the new one and also the SI5351 board and tested with pe0mgb version and running ok
so, if you want to test your new firmware I can now, but need some days, in this period my free time is limited..

After installing si5351, it still works, fm is perfect, am is excellent, it catches broadcast stations as expected, in bfo I understand it shows the frequency like quartz, it is possible to adjust its frequency exactly. But when receiving ssb radio amateurs, the sound is not clear, it will not tune in to the station, the gurgling is one. Do you have good sound quality in ssb?

yes, SSB sound good, even now when WX and propagation is not so ok
still, I can heard on some band portions, like bandwidth is larger there, some husssss cannot explain better in word
but maybe this is from my antenna (new installed) some QRM with this situation, or propagation.
ATT button have no effect in SSB.
BTW problem with BFO freq is the same in 3.5 version of Bart pe0mgb

hi guys ... take into account that the Si5351 is a square wave oscillator ... so it generates numerous spurious and harmonics ..especially at low frequencies (which is 32 Khz)... this can be the cause of a not quite clear audio reception of the SSB.
Who knows if using the oscillator board with the DDS AD9850 Sine Wave Signal Generator Module can be solved ???
who has it could try ..
I say this because I have experienced this phenomenon on a direct conversion receiver ... with the sine oscillator I had a much softer and more comfortable sound ...the one with the Si5351 was more thorny, but still acceptable ..as you hear from the audio file that friend Alex YO2LDK posted.
